Since Jim Edmonds signed with the Cubs, I've secretly hoped that in a key playoff game he'd watch a playable fly out to center drop in front of him, allowing a walk-off run to score, then tear open his Cubs jersey to reveal a Cardinals uniform beneath.Maybe next year. For now, at least I got to see some old lady Cubs fans cry.*
